Barnabrow Country House

Hey,

Last Sunday I was invited to Barnabrow Country House for Sunday Lunch. Being from Tipperary I wasn’t familiar with this restaurant but after looking at their website and on Tripadvisor I couldn’t wait to visit this place.

The weather was so nice on Sunday as we took off from the City to Midelton as we took the turn for Barnabrow Country House we were in awe straight away. As you drive up into the hill you have no idea what is around the corner. There is the stunning views, the main house, cottages scattered around and the medieval banqueting hall where the Sunday Lunch is served.

We were a bit early for lunch which started at 1 so we walked around the grounds. It was so relaxing and peaceful I can see why it is so popular for weddings as it is like you are tucked away in your own place in the hill.

When we got into the restaurant the staff were so friendly we were brought to our table in the banquet hall and I had to take photos of it all its stunning.

For starters I had Vegetable and Tomato soup and my boyfriend had Black Pudding Salad.

For mains we both had the Beef and with out any doubt this was the nicest beef dinner that I have had in a long time it was so tasty and the beef was perfectly cooked.

For Dessert I had Vanilla Crème Brulée with Shortbread and my boyfriend had Warm chocolate brownie with honeycomb and walnut and maple ice cream.

I have teamed up with Barnabrow Country House and I am running a competition on my Social Media to win a Sunday Lunch for two.
