How I Clean My Make-Up Brushes

I think every girl knows how annoying it is to have to clean their make up brushes and how much effort it takes so when I saw Jen from TooDollyMakeup and Laura from Laura Dempsey Makeup put up a snapchat using a Moogoo Cleansing Bar to clean their brushes and how easy it looked I had to try it.

I had heard of MooGoo before and herd great things about their products. MooGoo is an Australian company and have a huge range of natural products for many different skin types. I picked up the MooGoo Fresh Milk Cleansing Bar with Fresh Butter Milk, Olive Oil & Cocoa Butter in Horgans Pharmacy in Cork City. I think it was around €5.50 you can also purchase it on the MooGoo website here.

What I did was rub the makeup brushes on the cleansing bar under running water. It is amazing the amount of make up that comes off straight away.  When the water ran clean I moved on to the next make up brush. It took no time at all to clean my brushes and they all smelled amazing too.

I used to use Johnsons Baby Shampoo but the last time I used it to wash my Blank Canvas Foundation brush it ruined it. I’m not sure if the water was too hot but all the hairs just keep falling out of the brush now.  That didn’t happen the last few times I have used the MooGoo cleansing bar thank god or I would have no brushes left haha.

I have included photos of my bruhses before and after below:
