My 2016 Highlights

So this is my first post of 2017 yay! Happy New Year everyone!

I’m finally getting around to writing a post about 2016 I wanted to share some of the highlights of last year with you. Overall it was a good year I have a lot of things I want to achieve in 2017 so hopefully it will be a great year for us all πŸ™‚

In May I headed off to Thailand with two friends this was such an amazing experience and I loved every minute of it. We went to Koh Samui and fitted in so much I will never forget this trip! You can read all about it here

Myself and my boyfriend went to KrakΓ³w in August this has a place that I had on my bucket list so I was delighted to tick another thing of the list. This is such a beautiful place I would recommend it to everyone. We visited Auschwitz Birkenau and the Salt Mines read about the trip here

Iceland/10 Year Anniversary

For our 10 year anniversary my boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Iceland. This trip was so different than anywhere I had been it was so cold but I loved every minute of it. We visited the Blue Lagoon which was just incredible. Read all about it here

I also came home to these on the day of our anniversary 10 balloons with photos of our trips etc on them

Even though I love hopping on a plane and going to a new destination sometimes just getting into the car and finding somewhere in Ireland/Northern Ireland is just as good there are so many amazing places that we have visited in Ireland already so when we were looking for somewhere different Belfast was top of the list. We visited the Titanic Museum, done a Black Cab tour and drove to the Giants Causeway three more things that I got to tick off my list. Read about it here

I come from a big family my mam has a total of 13 siblings (8 brother, 4 sisters and herself) and we are a very close family. My mam and aunties started a tradition that themselves and their daughters would do something together at least once a year and this year we decided on a overnight stay with spa in the Castlemartyr resort. We had such a great time all together the spa was amazing and the three course dinner that we had was one of the best meals I have had everything about this was just brilliant we always have such an amazing time together! I love having these memories.

Penneys Press Day

When I first started blogging I always saw my favorite bloggers going to Press Days up in Dublin and the one that always stood out for me was the Penneys/Primark one like who isn’t a fan of Penneys! So when I was invited to the SS17 Press Day I was over the moon I couldn’t believe it. I was lucky to have it off work and I was just back from Iceland so it was perfect. Off I went to Dublin and it was just brilliant the pieces that will be arriving in Penneys are all fab I am going to be so broke. You can read all about it here
